Overnight home care
For those who need support during the night, our overnight care service provides a trained carer in your home from evening until morning. This may be a sleeping night — where your carer sleeps at your home and is on hand if needed — or a waking night, where your carer remains awake throughout to provide active support.
Overnight care is often the right choice for people who manage well during the day but feel vulnerable at night, are at risk of falls, need help with medication or personal care during the night, or are living with dementia and may become disorientated after dark.
It also gives family carers a proper night’s rest, safe in the knowledge that a professional is there.
Live-in care
With live-in care, a carefully matched carer lives with you in your own home, providing support throughout the day with agreed rest periods and a sleeping arrangement overnight. It is a genuine alternative to moving into a care home — you keep your home, your routines, your pets and your community, with the reassurance of someone always there.
Your live-in carer helps with personal care, medication, cooking, housekeeping, errands and companionship — and, just as importantly, brings warmth and friendship into the home. Couples can be supported together, which is often considerably more affordable than two care home places.
We take matching seriously: carers are introduced before care begins, and we work hard to provide continuity so you are supported by familiar, trusted faces.
24-Hour care at home
Some people need continuous, active support around the clock; for example those with complex health needs, advanced dementia, or following a serious illness or injury. Our 24-hour care service provides carers working in shifts, so someone is awake, alert and available at every hour of the day and night.
Care is planned with you, your family and the health professionals involved in your support, and can include clinical tasks under appropriate oversight — medication administration, moving and handling, PEG feeding, catheter and stoma care.
One of our dedicated care managers will oversee your package and remain your consistent point of contact, reviewing arrangements regularly as needs change.

How much does live-in or 24-hour care cost?
The cost of care depends on the level of support you need, how many carers are involved, and whether nights are sleeping or waking. Live-in care is often comparable in cost to a residential care home — for one-to-one support in your own home — and supporting a couple together usually costs significantly less than two care home places.
